GiGi’s Playhouse: “Believe in Our Build” Brunch & Open House

Sponsored by Cool Brew, the event is a fundraiser and pre-launch of New Orleans’ own “GiGi’s Playhouse,” one of a nationwide network of centers offering unique educational options for individuals with Down Syndrome. Event proceeds will help fund a permanent home for the organization in New Orleans, as well as its programs and activities. Attendees will have a chance to see the FREE signature programs that will be offered by GiGi’s Playhouse New Orleans. This includes: One-on-One Literacy & Math; Playhouse Pals; Kids Club; TeenTastic; Fantastic Friends; and GiGi Career Studio. Visitors can also enjoy a delicious buffet brunch, prepared by Chef Katie Cox of Event Helpers. All are welcome to stop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

About GiGi’s Playhouse: Established in 2002, GiGi’s Playhouse was created to provide new development opportunities for individuals with Down Syndrome. The organization is the only international network that provides free therapeutic and educational programs for individuals with Down Syndrome, as well as their families. Programs focus on social and motor skills, speech, language, reading, math, computers and peer interaction.
