Amanda, a native New Orleanian, spent 8 years in Baton Rouge pursuing her undergraduate and graduate education. She married her college sweetheart and his career brought them home to New Orleans. Soon thereafter, they discovered they were expecting their first child and before he turned one, they learned another surprise blessing was on the way. Amanda worked full time as an attorney but scaled her practice back when they relocated to the Northshore. They recently welcomed their 3rd child and son. They love the laid back pace of the Northshore. When Amanda is not working you can find her at Franco’s or chasing after her three boys. When she gets a moment to herself she enjoys nights out with girlfriends, a good book, and cooking. All of which are enhanced with a glass of wine in hand.Angelina was born and raised in New Orleans and returned home after graduating from LSU (once she realized she was broke and in need of a real job). She furthered her education with a MBA, paid down debt and planted roots here with her husband of nearly 14 years, Josh. They have two boys, Jude and Elijah. Angelina is a work from home mom and co-owns Papillon Social Media with fellow executive team member Myndee. She's a foodie, wino and snowball addict who enjoys yoga, barre and fueling her makeup addiction with trips to Sephora. Weekdays are mostly organized chaos, balancing work, extracurricular and cleaning toy cars out of her purse. Weekends are filled with happy hour play dates, family bike rides, trips to the farmer’s market, and attempts to make it through Sunday mass with kids.Jaime, originally from Florida, has called Louisiana her home for over 20 years. She lives on the Northshore with her husband, Patrick, and son, Dillon, where she also teaches high school English. After recently finishing graduate school, Jaime can say she mastered the art of balancing work/school and family. Though she spends most of her time chasing her toddler son and working on lesson plans, Jaime enjoys cooking Rachael Ray meals, teaching herself how to crochet, reading her latest book store buy, and watching way too much Netflix. Likely to have a coffee in hand and start a sentence with “I was listening to this podcast…” Jaime loves to work on her writing on her personal blog, Whole Latte Nothing.Jamie is a stay at home mom to her three vivacious boys, AJ, Christian and Braden. After over 11 years of marriage and overcoming several adversities as a couple, including the devastation of hurricane Katrina and the tragedies at Columbine High School, the duo have learned the importance of living life to the fullest. Jamie’s love for New Orleans grew as she watched the city recover from Katrina. After nearly two years spent living in New York City, she couldn’t be happier about their decision to raise their children immersed in the rich New Orleans culture. Jamie earned a BA in English/writing at the University of Colorado and is enjoying planning events that bring moms together.Karen is a former NICU nurse turned work-from-home mom. Karen found “blogging” when she was transplanted to New Orleans for her husband’s fellowship. In an effort to find community and connection she reached out to the women of the New Orleans Moms Blog. Her role has morphed several times from contributor to Events & Sales Coordinator and now Sales Manager. She recently moved back to South Florida but strives to carry the spirit, spunk and fun of New Orleans with her. Currently her days are spent running from the grocery store to pre-school pick up while simultaneously fielding sales calls and scheduling sponsored posts and social media. Her favorite past times include drinking wine, “trying” to love working out, and explaining the difference between mommy blogging and FULL FLEDGED PARENTING WEBSITES.Lindsay is a native New Orleanian, displaced only by her years at Mississippi State, where she earned a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries and a minor in English. She came home shortly after Katrina, to work as a zookeeper and be a part of the rebuilding of her beloved city. She dragged her husband Drake, a Tennessee native, along with her. Their son Bennett joined the family in 2010, and in 2014 they welcomed identical twin girls, Genevieve and Kellen Clair. She now works full time as an Environmental Scientist and part-time as NOMB’s resident Jill of All Trades. Powered by espresso, cake, and craft beer, her happy place is on a beach or in the woods. She loves to cook, pretend she’s a runner, photograph her kids, and be crafty.Marie is the owner of Little Hometown, a company specializing in locally themed baby swaddles and apparel. Prior to opening her business, Marie was a professional event planner turned stay-at-home mom. She spent nearly a decade living in New York City, where she met her husband of seven years, Jeff (a New England native). Early in their relationship, Marie told Jeff that New Orleans is the only place where she would want to raise her children. As soon as she got pregnant, they started shopping for houses. They moved back in December of 2012, welcomed Benjamin in March 2013 and Margot in October 2015. Marie now spends her days entertaining her kids with silly songs, desperately attempting to stay organized, and learning to balance her new life as a work-at-home mom.Myndee is a New Orleans area native who has been married to her husband, Luis, for nearly 14 years. A mom to three kids, born within three years, Myndee survived two- under-two, twice. After studying at Loyola University and working outside the home for several years, she transitioned to the crazy, exciting world of being a work-at-home mom. She co-owns Papillon Social Media with fellow NOMB writer, Angelina. The two recently launched Do Good Influence, where they connect nonprofits with influencers. In her free time, Myndee writes. A lot. She recently authored a yet-to-be published self- improvement book. She also enjoys trying out new exercise classes, listening to Audible books and binge watching her favorite shows. As an introverted extrovert, Myndee loves being part of the generation where most of her friends live in her computer.Nicole, is a New Orleans native, and work from home mom to her three children. She met her husband at LSU and moved home to New Orleans were they have been married for 14 years. Most of her time is spent running from tumbling to cross country to flag football with dinner somewhere in between. When she is not working for NOMB or at her children's school she spends her time attending a class at her favorite local exercise studio or having a glass of wine with family and friends.Originally from Ballston Lake, New York, Tara now lives in New Orleans with with her husband and four children. She received her B.S. in Business Management and M.S. in Education, and currently works as a full-time Financial Analyst. Tara enjoys everything from crafting & creating, to reading, strategy & organization, to party planning, coffee and Oreo’s. During Mardi Gras (her favorite time of year), you will find her people-watching, figuring out whose turn it is to ride on Papi’s shoulders and dodging beads to-the-head.
