The 3 Baby Products I Now Refuse To Go Without

My youngest of 3 recently turned 1. It feels like a milestone surviving this last year with 2 young kids and a baby. There are a few products I discovered along the way that totally changed my life. This post is in no way sponsored by any of them. I personally sought these items out, purchased them with my own funds and just deeply love these each of them so much I want to share what a game changer they really are.

The miracle car seat

So I know the saying goes “save the best for last” but I just can’t wait. This easily tops the list. It was definitely a splurge item for us, but I have gotten to use it for 2 babies and the use I got out of it has been invaluable. My beloved Doona car seat. I sing its praises from the mountaintop and to anyone who will listen. Whenever I’m out and pushing it (usually while chasing after 2 other kids), I frequently get stopped and asked about it. I personally know 3 other moms who have bought and used one and are equally as obsessed. It completely changed my life. I frequently have back issues, so never having to lug around a carseat with a baby in it was just incredible. Errands or quick trips were so easy not having to unload another stroller or separate attachment from the trunk. I would just grab the car seat out of the car and pop the wheels out. It really is a thing of beauty. {NOMB Insider Tip} Our friends and sponsors at ZukaBaby are the exclusive Doona distributor in the Metro New Orleans/MS Gulf Coast area. They carry all of the most popular colors in-store, as well as accessories, and can custom order any specialty colors for free in-store pickup. Shipping & local delivery are also available. Stop by the store to take a test drive of their most popular baby registry must-haves!

Grocery shopping game changer

The second item is my Binxy Baby shopping cart hammock. Anyone with a small baby can tell you it’s a pain to take them in a grocery store or anywhere with a shopping cart. They can’t sit in the front of the buggie, their car seats take up all of the space in the buggie, and they’re just not safe in their car seat placed on the front of the cart. So Binxy Baby was a game changer here. It installs very easily (I can now do it one handed, thanks motherhood) and my babies always loved being in it and looking around, which also made shopping much easier. When I ordered and received my Binxy Baby in the mail, I thought it was funny that it had a little pocket that was filled with Binxy Baby business cards telling you where to buy one. But after a few trips out with it, I was grateful I had those cards. I would constantly get stopped by people asking where they could buy one. So I could just pull out one of my handy cards and keep on shopping.

The only cover you’ll need

Lastly and certainly not least is my Milk Snob cover. I used the heck out of this thing. My last 2 babies were born in the fall (read flu season). Any time we were out, I would try and keep them covered, especially if they were sleeping. It was so easy for me to keep the Milk Snob in my diaper bag or in the pocket of the back of the seat by their car seat. Keeping them covered help keep strangers at bay as well as helped them stay asleep if they were out. Since I always had it, I would even use it as a blanket sometimes. It was perfect for a nursing cover also, negating the need to carry 2 separate items around at all times. I would wash it as needed and it held up so well.

I think the baby days may behind us now and that does make me a little sad. But proud that we survived it all. What are your baby stage must haves?
