The annual St. Nick Celebration in the French Market District on Saturday, December 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. is the perfect time during the holiday season to enjoy all that the French Market District has to offer. In addition to the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter dressed in holiday style, the annual St. Nick Celebration also provides a full-day of all-ages programming including live music, children’s activities, and photos with Santa!
Get your groove on with at St. Nick Celebration Stage, located at the Dutch Alley Performance Pavilion, with a variety of family-friendly live performances by some of our favorite children’s artists as well as something for mom and dad as well!

Photo with Santa
Get your photo taken with Santa during the Celebration! Santa will be in his own tent from 10am to 4pm to pose for photos with your krewe. The line will get long, as expected, so arrive early! The Celebration will provide a digital copy of your photo for personal use, no print copies will be available.
Did someone say free wholesome family fun?! Yeah, you heard right! St. Nice Celebration, like other French Market festivals, features free children’s activities throughout Dutch Alley including arts and craft with Adorn Me Antoinette, the Button Lady, YAYA, and ArtCamp504! Come prepared for cuteness overload because we couldn’t forget one our favorite all-ages activities, Rowdy Rascals Petting Zoo!
Know where to park and avoid frustration. The French Market operates two pay lots that provide easy access to St. Nick Celebration, the Riverfront Lot behind Cafe du Monde and the Farmers Market Lot on Elysian Fields Ave.
Insider-tip :: If driving into the French Quarter on a weekend sounds terrifying then you’ll love the Farmers Market lot. This lot is located just outside the French Quarter on the corner of Elysian Fields and Decatur St. a quick few blocks from Dutch Alley and the Boo Carre; lot map address. It’s an open lot with a pay kiosk for ease. Arrive early to secure your spot.
