Here is your guide to New Orleans Pumpkin Patches! We’ve done all the research for you to find the pumpkin patches and fall activities all across the New Orleans area. We hope this helps make your fall season filled with family friendly activities!!

New Orleans

French Quartour Kids Spooky History Tour 

Location: Scheduled when you call for a tour (504) 975-5355
Dates & Times: Varied
Event Details: This tour is full of tricks, treats, and spells and superstitions. It is for kids 5-10 years old. The tour is not designed to keep kids up at night but just to make them wonder, “What if….”
Cost: $20 per person, recommended for children ages 5-10.

Wheel Fun Rentals at City Park

Location: Wheel Fun Rentals {Big Lake Trail | City Park, New Orleans  LA 70124}
Dates: October 1st through October 23rd
Times: Monday – Friday: 1pm – 6pm  Saturday – Sunday: 9am – 6pm

Boo Carre Halloween and Harvest Festival

Location: The French Market’s Dutch Alley
Dates: October 21st
Times: 10:00am until 3:00pm
Event Details: This one-day kid-centric event occurs in Dutch Alley, between Dumaine and St. Phillip Streets, with trick-or-treating throughout the French Market District, from the Shops at the Upper Pontalba to the Farmers and Flea Markets.

The Harvest Fest will take place in Crescent Park on Sunday, October 29th from 12:00pm until 6:00pm.

First Presbyterian Church

Location: 5401 S. Claiborne Avenue, New Orleans, LA
Dates: October 2nd through October 31st
Times: Weekdays 3:00pm until dusk, Saturdays 10:00am until dusk, Sundays 1:00pm until dusk.

St. Paul’s Episcopal School

Location: 6249 Canal Blvd. (Lakeview)
Dates: October 7th through October 31st
Times: M-F 12:00pm until 6:00pm and Sat – Sun 10:00am until 6:00pm
Event Details: St. Paul’s provides pumpkins of all sizes, from 3 pounds to over 40 pounds.

 St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church

Location:1031 S. Carrollton Ave. (Uptown)
Dates: October 3rd through October 31st
Times: Kid friendly – free admission and picture area, reasonable prices with pumpkins ranging from all sizes, and delivery available in the local area. We’re open M-F 2pm-8pm and Sat. & Sun. 10am-8pm

Metairie

Lafreneire Park and Plum Street Snoballs

Location: 3000 Downs Blvd. inside the splash pad (Metairie, LA)
Dates: Opens October 6th
Time: M-F 2:00pm until dusk, Sat-Sun 11:00am until dusk
Event Details: Enjoy pumpkins and snowballs – a perfect New Orleans combination.Pumpkins range in price from $1-$20. There will be a costume contest on October 28th. Registration begins at 2pm with judging at 3pm. Prizes awarded to winners of each age group. Free entry. They are also booking Pumpkin Patch Field trips, birthday parties & can deliver pumpkins.

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

Location: 2216 Metairie Road, Metairie, LA
Dates: September 25th through October 31st
Times: M-F 2:00pm until 6:30pm; Saturday and Sunday 10:00am until 6:30pm

St. Augustine Church

Location: 3412 Haring Road, Metairie, LA
Dates: Open from October 4th through the 31st.
Times: Open Mon-Fri from 12:00pm until 8:00pm and Sat-Sun from 9:00am-8:00pm
Event Details: Pumpkins of all sizes, carving kits and baked goods. St. Augustine will also host its annual Pumpkin Palooza Saturday October 21st from 10:30am-1:00pm.

Harvey

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church

Location: 3245 Manhattan Blvd.
Dates: October 8th through October 31st
Times:  Mon-Fri from 9:00am until 6:00pm and Sun from 12:00pm until 6:00pm
Event Details: Free admission. Join them for their Trunk or Treat October 31st at 6:00pm

Northshore {Mandeville, Madisonville, Covington, Folsom}

St. Anselm Madisonville

Location: 306 St. Mary Street, Madisonville, LA
Dates: October 7th through October 31st
times 10:00am-6:00pm daily
Event Details: No cost to enter; pumpkins vary in size. The Family Fun Day will happen on October 8th from Noon til 3pm. Children are encouraged to wear costumes. There will be music and a bounce house and other fun festivities.

St. Peter Church

Location: 125 E. 19th Avenue, Covington, LA
Dates: October 15th through October 31st
Times: 9:00am until dusk
Event Details: Pumpkins of all sizes, from decor size to small ones for pies. School visits are welcome.

Pumpkins in the Park at TerraBella Village

Location: TerraBella Village, Covington, LA
Dates: October 28th
Times: 11am – 2pm
Event Details: Free event featuring pumpkins, pumpkin painting, face painting, jump house, hay ride, crafts for the kids, food and beverage to purchase and more!
Please bring a non-perishable food item for the Covington Food Bank.

Hammond

Mrs. Heather’s Pumpkin Patch

Location: 11215 Lee’s Lane (Hammond, LA)
Dates: September 23rd through November 5th
Times: Monday through Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm; Saturday and Sunday 10:00am until 5:00pm
Event Details: $7 per child, pick a pumpkin, zip line, jumping pillow, face painting, farm animals, hay maze, picnic lunch spot, pumpkin painting (weekends only). Mrs. Heather’s also schedules field trips and birthday parties!

Slidell

First United Methodist

Location: 433 Erlanger Street, Slidell, LA
Dates: September 30th through October 31st
Times: Daily; Monday – Saturday (10:00am – 7:00pm) and Sunday (12:00pm – 7:00pm)
Event Details: No cost to enter; pumpkins vary in size. Photo opportunities. Goodies, crafts, and water for sale. The 6th annual Pumpkin Fest will be held on October 7th 11 a.m. – 4 p.m which includes arts and crafts, a pumpkin decorating contest and many more fall activities. Trunk or treat will be held on October 29th from 5-7 pm. Decorate your car and fill your trunk for a happy and safe celebration!

Amite

Event Details: Each child receives a pie pumpkin with admission.
Prices: 2-12 – $10, 12+ – $5

Steele’s Christmas Tree Farm

Event Details: Armbands are $8.50; children under 2 are free. Ride on the Moo Moo Choo Choo, climb the rope spider, ride a bucking bronco, take a hayride, explore the corn maze and more! Food and drinks sold at the concession stand and picnic tables located at the country pavillion.

Destrehan

Montz

Perilloux’s Pumpkin Patch

Location: 17834 River Road, Montz, LA
Dates: October 6th through October 31st
Times: Weekdays by appointment only (985) 652-3672; Weekends 9:00am until 4:00pm
Event Details: $7 per person (same for adults and kids). Price includes a pumpkin, as well as a hayride which take place once an hour on the hour.

Plaquemines Parish

The Pumpkin Patch at Stella Plantation

Location: Braithwaite
Dates: October 15th and October 22nd
Times: 10:00am to 4:00pm
Event Details: With your ticket you can choose a mini pumpkin, shoot our Corn Cob Cannon, take a hayride through beautiful Stella Plantation. Plus you can enjoy bouncy houses, photo opportunities and a picnic area Kids 1 and under attend free!

If you are planning to attend a church Pumpkin Patch be sure to call ahead. Many of the churches we spoke with said the opening dates were contingent on the pumpkins arriving as scheduled and are subject to change.
