Planning a Stress-Free Carnival Season with Potty Trained Little Ones {Sponsored Post and Giveaway from Kalencom}

Potette Plus Green SKU# 1DCCCA56 Open with Liner

Disclosure: this is a sponsored post. While we received compensation for our time and efforts, we were thrilled to be asked to share the Potette Plus with you all, as we think it will make life WAY easier for New Orleans area moms on the parade route this Carnival season!

The Dilemma: Parading While Potty Trained

Mardi Gras is upon us which means parades, great food and company. But when celebrating the Carnival season with little ones, additional preparations and tools to make our parade watching more successful need to be considered beyond ladders and coolers. We are celebrating our first season with a recent graduate from potty school and after being introduced to the 2in1 Potette Plus, from Kalencom New Orleans, I can honestly say we are prepared to enjoy the parades. Let’s face it: when those glittering floats and bands march by, the last thing you want to figure out is finding a sanitary bathroom for your in-training or potty trained little one. And, let’s be honest, finding one in close proximity is a gamble.

The Answer: Kalencom’s Potette PlusPotette Plus Green SKU# 1DCCCA56 On Potty

The 2in1 Potette Plus may be used as either a training seat or travel potty. It is a cleverly designed freestanding potty seat that is surprisingly sturdy enough for my constantly moving toddler. The travel potty seat can accommodate up to 50 pounds, which makes it a perfect apparatus to store in your vehicle in case of an unforeseen potty emergency on the road. The “legs” fold below the seat during storage and easily pull down and lock in place to create a seat for your toddler when you are on the go. The legs also extend 180 degrees so that it may accommodate nearly any toilet seat, as shown to the right.

Who Knew a Potty Seat Could be so Exciting?!

The 2in1 Potette Plus is a durable and cleanable option for the family on the go; a drawstring travel bag and three self-absorbing disposable liners are included in every package. (Additional liners are sold separately and may be discarded like a diaper.) The liner handle is designed to secure to the seat during usage, and it is mess free to discard. The 2in1 Potette Plus was also extremely easy to clean with disinfecting wipes.

Potette Plus Green SKU# 1DCCCA56 In PackageI also found the slim dimensions easy to slip into my day bag without much hassle, and its weight was negligible. Jazz Fest is also around the corner and slipping one in the bag will give parents piece of mind in providing a clean and comfortable option for your little one while you enjoy the sights and sounds.

In a town where there is always a festival being celebrated, the Potette Plus is an essential every New Orleanian parent should own. And, better yet, Kalencom is a local company with its headquarters and main plant located right here in our city! In stock, and available in five kid friendly colors, I would like to recommend the 2in1 Potette Plus as an ideal addition to every family’s Mardi Gras preparation kit!

    This looks awesome!!! My child has a serious aversion to public toilets so this seems like a great solution.

    What a cool idea. My daughter just started to tell me she has to go in the last few days after months of failed attempts to potty train. The few times she told me, there was nowhere to take her, this would have been a perfect thing to support her.

    My oldest son was 2 years 8 months old and we just finished potty training my daughter. She is 2 years and 2 months old. This little potty would definitely come in handy with her!
