Loved Boo at the Zoo we took our 5yr old at the time and she loved it! I also use to go when I was younger. great event for kids.

  67. Rhonda Gisclair October 15, 2013 at 9:54 am #

We’ve never done Boo at the Zoo, but have always wanted to. With 4 children ranging in age from 15 to 8 and mom & dad working it can be difficult to line all our ducks up in a row. My youngest is mildly autistic and loves the zoo, but I worry about crowds as loud noise make him very anxious. We will definitely go if we win. I’ll just have to try and get tickets for our 2 oldest.

Yes, we have been before and I loved it! My favorite memory was seeing my two babies, at the time, holding hands trick or treating! Also, loved the spooky train ride!!! Such a great family event for everyone.

  71. Lisa Negrotto October 15, 2013 at 1:02 pm #

Hello thee, I love Boo at the Zoo! I haven’t been in 5 years and so want to take my youngest, Angelo, who is 4 years old as well as my now 9 year old. My favorite things were watching my then 5 year old son visit each table, ask me about the item, listen to my explanation, and excitedly stuff it into his bag of loot. The BEST the about BOO at the ZOO is watching the costume children run freely from fun thing to fun thing without fear of getting lost or worse abducted. We just don’t have that luxury while trick or treating in our neighborhoods anymore. It’s not the same as when we were kids. At Boo at the Zoo there is an innocence of children and parents that is an absolute pleasure to experience. It truly is the best kids soiree in NOLA and I want more than anything to watch my little ones enjoy it this year while they’re are 9 and 4, still little and innocent.
    Thank you,
    Lisa Negrotto
