Join us at A Studio in the Woods for the 7th annual FORESTival: A Celebration of Art and Nature, Saturday November 11, 11am – 5pm!
Music from The Asylum Chorus, Byron Asher’s Skrontch Music, Confetti Park Players and Make Music NOLA. Artist presentations by current and former residents Fallen Fruit, ISeeChange, Jane Hill, John Kleinschmidt and Benjamin Morris. Special guest artists include a performance by Punica Granatum Collective, Building a Clay Forest, and Antenna’s Draw-a-thon.
Guided walks through the woods will be led by ASITW Environmental Curator David Baker, entomologist Kimberly Mighell, and former resident Benjamin Morris, who will lead a walking tour of some of the places that inspired the poems in his new book, Ecotone.

FORESTival is the only time during the year that A Studio in the Woods is open to the public at large and this signature celebration of art and nature is fun for the whole family. A Studio in the Woods is located in Lower Algiers at 13401 Patterson Rd. New Orleans LA, 70131, about a 25 minute drive from downtown New Orleans. $10 suggested donation, kids free.
