There are only TWO months left of the year, y’all! Make the most of it! We found some fabulous November 2017 activities for your family to enjoy in and around New Orleans.

November 2 :: Nurse Nikki is hosting Baby Bingo at Zukababy! Learn all about caring for a newborn while playing this lively, classic game! Pre-registration required. $30/person

November 4 :: Presented by IBERIABANK, the Odyssey Ball will commemorate the city’s Tricentennial and highlight NOMA and the Odyssey Ball’s integral place in New Orleans’ cultural life and history. Now in its 51st year, this signature event has become its own New Orleans tradition. The legacy continues with this year’s theme, L’Odyssée: A Celebration 300 Years in the Making.

November 4 :: Visit the Louisiana Children’s Museum to Celebrate Louisiana’s rich Native American Heritage with special performances and crafts, play Native American games, listen to authentic music, and more.

November 4 :: Lift, tone and burn next to adoptable animals at a special donation only Pure Barre pop up class at the Louisiana SPCA. $10 donation required with 100% of proceeds going towards the animals at the Louisiana SPCA. Space is limited – Must sign up online ahead of time. If you adopt, your $10 donation goes toward the adoption fees!

November 5 :: Join La Petite Tea Room for a Princess Tea Party! The cost is $25 per child. This party will include dress-up, crafts, a tea party and a special guest appearance by Princess Belle!

November 5 :: Bring your lawn chairs and head to Audubon Park for a special concert to celebrate the Audubon Park Conservancy. Food and drink will be available to purchase.

November 8 :: X’s and O’s Gift Boutique is having a Holiday Sip and Shop just for the ladies! We will be offering 20% off all regular priced items. Our friends from About Face of New Orleans will also be joining us with some goodies from their store.

November 10-12 :: Check out the Bayou Road Balloon Festival at the Sidney D. Torres Memorial Park in Chalmette. The festival will feature 15 hot air balloons creating a spectacular “night glow” each evening.

November 10 :: Ivanov’s Gymnastics is hosting November Friday Night, Fun-Night! Non-members are welcome.  Gymnastics, Games & Music, Pizza, Fun, Tumble-Track & Gym Play time Register in advance at the Front desk or via email. Space is limited. $12.00 for members, $17.00 for non-members Ages: 4.5 and older.

November 11 :: The New Orleans Book Festival is a celebration of books for readers of all ages. The festival includes a family-friendly evening performance by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and a full day of programming for book lovers ranging from new readers to literary scholars.

November 11 :: The 2017 New Orleans Heart Walk takes place at Champion Square. Bonus, New Orleans Moms Blog will be out there! Be sure to come say hello!!

November 11 :: Visit Simplee Gourmet‘s Vegan Leather Trunk Show with Bellmode. Time to get your shopping done with all of the styles of bags, totes, travel bags big and small.

November 11 :: Zukababy is having a registry brunch! Mingle with other expecting parents, enjoy light refreshments, and gain exclusive access to our registry concierge to help you select the best products and services for your growing family.

November 11, 12 :: The Covington Three Rivers Art Festival. Explore quaint Downtown Covington while shopping one of the top art festivals in Louisiana. With 200+ artists from over 20 states, free admission, art, food, music and children’s activities, it’s the perfect event to get a head start on holiday shopping.

November 13 :: Mark your calendars for our Family Fall Festival at Chick Fil A in Kenner. There will be a Costume Contest with a Celebrity Judge, pumpkins, painting with a Professional Artist and more!

November 14 ::  NOMA is hosting Japan Fest, the largest celebration of Japanese culture in the Gulf South. It’s a day to enjoy traditional dance groups, martial arts demonstrations, tours of our Japanese art collection, a fashion show, and much more, including Japanese food.

November 14 :: Jewish Community Day School hosts Family Math Night. Discover the wonders of math as a family with hands-on activities.

November 17 :: Check out the JPAS Theatre Kids production of Disney’s The Lion King JR at the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre.

November 18 :: Celebrate fresh foods harvested in Louisiana at the Louisiana Children’s Museum! Enjoy hands-on activities that focus on the fall harvest, healthy living and fresh local foods.

November 18, 19 :: the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation will host the tenth annual Tremé Creole Gumbo Festival.

November 25 :: Design A Latte turns 3! Celebrate all day with games, prizes, and fantastic sales!

November 26 :: Peppa Pig Live Surprise is a brand new Peppa Pig experience! Bring your kids to the Mahalia Jackson Theater for an evening of surprises and dancing in the aisles!
