Help for the Men: Five Awesome Stocking Stuffers for the Ladies {Sponsored Giveaway}

Last night I made a comment to my husband about how sad my stocking looked compared to everyone else’s. I even went so far as to drop a hint, asking if I had really been that bad this year. As it is every year, everyone else’s stocking is nice and full because I am finished shopping … but my own stocking is still virtually empty, and I’m almost expecting to see a lump of coal in it!

I am pretty sure most men loathe holiday shopping as much as a woman loathes getting a pap smear. It’s one of those things that just has to get done, and most men put it off until the last minute. I figured I’d help them along and give them a little guide to at least help stuff your stocking with some nice goodies.

So, fellow moms, feel free to forward or share this with your significant other as a hint to fill up your stocking in a matter of minutes and in a one stop shop!

Confession:  I love things that make me feel pretty, especially things like spa treatments and lotions. Every year for Christmas, I’m gifted by some very generous and kind people with a Paris Parker Aveda gift card that I can use across the 9 locations in the metro New Orleans Area. Every year, I use up EVERY LAST PENNY of that gift card because it is a gift that keeps on giving! I am a huge fan of Aveda products, and I always have some of their items on my Christmas Wish List.

Men: Follow This List And You Can’t Go Wrong!

h13_0052_r2So guys, here you go. If your wife forwarded you this post to help you out, I’ve got you covered: here are some awesome stocking stuffers for the lady in your life that will likely bring a smile to her face (and maybe a little fun for you … wink, wink).

Aveda Hand Relief Lotion :: This lotion is a MUST HAVE for any mother, especially those who change diapers frequently and wind up washing their hands a million times a day. It smells great and it’s thick, yet its non-greasy formula heals dry, chapped hands in no time. Every night I use this lotion and I wake up with soft hands again. You can also get it in a gift set with the Foot Relief which is also pretty awesome!

Rosemary Mint Body Wash :: I fell in love with this after my first time having services at Aveda. They keep it in the steam showers for when you finish up a spa treatment, and it is amazing. It’s great to use as a hand soap or a body wash and is light and refreshing with a perfect minty scent that isn’t too overpowering. The shampoo and conditioner are also an amazing clarifying treatment for hair that may be weighted down with hair products.

Nourish-Mint Renewing Lip Treatment :: Full of nutrients and vitamins, this lip treatment is excellent for hydrating lips before makeup or even as a stand alone. It is also great for treating chapped lips that will be super soft without the waxy texture of basic lip balms while having a light, minty flavor.

Custom Pure-Fumes :: Ranging in size from a small purse size atomizer to a full size bottle, you can have a custom blend of essential oils mixed to create a perfume scent for your special someone. An Aveda specialist will let you smell several blends to choose what works best for you. They also have pre-made scents to choose from. This is a great inexpensive option with a personalized touch!

Paris Parker Aveda Gift Cards/Packages :: Available in any denomination you choose, you can get an Aveda h13_0050_r3gift card to treat your lovely lady to products of her choosing, a manicure or pedicure, or as much as a day at the spa. Aveda’s holiday service gift catalog features ideas for every price point and can find something to fit your needs. I know several ladies who would love it if they were gifted with a Series Spa Package for the upcoming year (myself included)!

Join us tonight at Paris Parker to shop!

Wondering WHEN you can run into a Paris Parker Aveda Location to get your shopping done? Stop by any of the nine local Paris Parker locations TONIGHT for their holiday shopping event from 6:00-8:00 pm. You can finish your holiday shopping (and get these stocking stuffers) and even get tips and complimentary services from Aveda stylists and aestheticians while you have some snacks and libations. Also, please stop by and say hello, as some of our contributors will be there shopping!

And, as a bonus … one of you will win a $100 Paris Parker gift card! Tis the season to be merry (and pampered)!

About Andie

Andie was born and raised in the New Orleans area. After growing up in the River Parishes, she relocated to northern Louisiana to attend Northwestern State and obtain her degree in writing. She was quick to return when she and husband, Scott, tied the knot nearly 10 years ago. After a battle with infertility and subsequently completing the adoption application process, Andie & Scott were blessed to become pregnant and welcome their son, Andrew, into their lives in August 2011. These days, Andrew keeps Andie on her toes and takes her on new parenting adventures daily along with their pup, Maggie. A full time working wife and mother, Andie loves spending her free time taking photographs, cooking tasty eats, cheering for the Saints and LSU, enjoying time with family and friends, and traveling, especially to the beaches of South Walton. Andie loves exploring the area and is always looking for new and exciting places to discover with her family!

    I’m bravely/crazily growing out my gray hair. Stacy at the Paris Parker on Magazine has been amazing in helping me keep my locks stylish throughout this year-long journey. The last bit of processed color will be coming off in my next haircut. I’d love this gift card to treat myself to a few of Aveda’s great products from the Blue Malva line to help keep my silver looking healthy and sexy. :)
