Happy Holidays from NOMB!

Since launching this little blog of ours in August, it’s been non-stop. And for that we could not be more grateful. We’ve held a cutest Saints fan contest, hosted several reviews and giveaways, shared 40+ ideas for shopping local this holiday season, offered advice on breastfeeding, 2 under 2 and the importance of socialization in small children, and have shared touching stories about prematurity, postpartum depression, infertility and miscarriage. We are grateful to be moms in the New Orleans community and are proud of what we’ve accomplished and are looking forward to what’s to come in 2013!

But all of that took a lot of work from our team. Our contributors are constantly thinking of new ideas and working on content for you all, and our sponsors are continually reaching out with new ideas. It’s been go go go since we launched, and we all believe that it is extremely important to take a break and enjoy the wonder of the holiday season with our families and little ones. After all, that’s the focus of our blog and our most important priority!

New Orleans Moms Blog holiday break

We’ll look forward to resuming regular content on January 2, 2013. In the meantime, we wish you a very happy holiday season full of memories, hot chocolate, caroling, laughter and whatever else your heart desires.

About Ashley

Ashley is the co-founder of New Orleans Moms Blog and works part-time from home for a non-profit focused on urban education reform. After attending college in Virginia, she and her husband Blaise lived in Tampa and Scottsdale prior to settling down back home in New Orleans. Thatcher joined the family in February 2011, and Hadley followed in November 2012. When she's not chasing her very busy toddler or cuddling her newborn, you can find her cheering for the Saints, trying new restaurants, sipping on a glass of sauvignon blanc, relaxing at the beaches of 30A or spending time with friends. Ashley loves exploring her hometown and discovering the city of New Orleans through Thatcher and Hadley's eyes!
